Maharashtra Announces Diwali Bonus 2024 Under Ladki Bahin Yojana
The Maharashtra government has announced the Diwali Bonus 2024 under the Ladki Bahin Yojana, providing eligible women with Rs. 3000 as the fourth and fifth installments.
The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana aims to support women across the state by providing financial aid.

According to the latest notification, officials will transfer the 4th and 5th installment payments of ₹3,000 to the bank accounts of eligible women as part of this initiative. All qualified women will receive the payments directly in their accounts.
The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana aims to support women across the state by providing financial aid.
For the upcoming Diwali festival, the government plans to advance the October and November installments.
Over 94,000 women beneficiaries in Maharashtra have already received these payments to help with their Diwali shopping.
Ladki Bahin Yojana 4th and 5th Installment
The Maharashtra government is providing both the 4th and 5th installments of the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana in advance.
This means women will receive ₹3,000 instead of ₹1,500 in October, allowing for extra shopping during Diwali.
Eligibility for the Ladki Bahin Diwali Bonus
The Diwali Bonus will be deposited directly into the accounts of eligible women who have registered for the Ladki Bahin Yojana and received prior installments.
Eligibility Criteria for the Mazi Ladki Bahin Scheme
Women residents of Maharashtra can apply online.
Applicants must be permanent residents of Maharashtra.
Female applicants should be between 21 and 65 years old. This includes married, unmarried, abandoned, divorced, and destitute women.
Applicants must have a bank account in their name.
The family income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh per year.

Disqualifications
Applicants may be disqualified if:
Their combined annual family income exceeds ₹2.5 lakh.
A family member is an income taxpayer. A family member is a permanent employee in government or local bodies or receives a pension.
The family has a four-wheeler (excluding tractors) registered in their name.
Women who cannot apply online can seek assistance from various local officials or community workers, who will help with the application process at no cost.
Important Note
The Maharashtra government has extended the application deadline for the Ladki Bahin Yojana to October 15.
Women who haven't yet applied can still submit their applications.
